How a Managing Director in India was inspired to make change
happen by the people he met on his Common Purpose course
R.Ramakrishnan took part in a Common Purpose in Bangalore. He
found the experience valuable:
"This course gave me an excellent opportunity to network
with various leaders from different walks of life and also to be
able to interact with great people who have made a difference to
our society. With networking and interacting, it has given me
learning to go forward and apply this learning to the organisation,
people and process.
"This also gave me an understanding of the challenges each
segment/sector faces today and if we put our heads together , we
can find solutions which can change the world. There are people who
in their own way have done it, and have achieved greater
heights.
"Common purpose gave me learning on how important "context"
is. At the top it is important to have more width and from an old
look of leadership, there has been an insight into a new leadership
style."
