Ethan joined Common Purpose in 2008 as the Curriculum Manager;
for 3 years he led on course design. In that time he helped train
staff in 12 countries and designed leadership courses for
individuals at various stages in their career. In 2011 Ethan took
on a new challenge with Common Purpose - to grow Frontrunner; our
leadership course for university students around the world.
Ethan was born a traveller. While the first few years of his
life were spent in Germany, Ethan was educated in the United
States. He attended the University of California at Berkeley and
Prescott College, where he studied architecture and
outdoor/experiential education. His studies took him across the
South Western United States, Mexico and New Zealand.
On completion of his studies, Ethan pursued his passion for
life-long learning working with schools, universities, community
organisations, and summer camps. He has experience developing
learning experiences for everyone from five-year-old children to
senior business executives in varied environments.
Ethan is equally comfortable standing in front of a white board
as he is standing on a surfboard.
